Recently I have visited the beautiful ski and snowboard resort Poiana Brasov in Transylvania, Romania. Great for beginners and challenging for more advanced too, is a place of wonder in any season due to the majestic and almost pristine nature. And I was very happy to have one of the best views at Royal Boutique Hotel.
Cozy Royal Boutique Hotel In Poiana Brasov Romania
Royal Boutique Hotel is cozy, the personnel very friendly and offers a lot of privacy. What I loved is that it has a deposit room for the sky/snowboard equipment and the views!
Hotel Royal is situated in the middle of Poiana Brasov, with great views over the sky and snowboard slopes, the mountains and the beautiful Miorita lake.
Among the facilities is a sauna, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, billiard table, a bar and a huge hall for events. The parking is free for the hotel clients and transfers from Brasov city to the hotel can be arranged.
Very good fast WiFi throughout the hotel.
Royal Boutique Hotel has double or triple rooms, suites and apartments, 29 in total. Some are recently renovated (the Modern ones) and others Vintage. See all the room types in the hotel website, here.
I had a beautiful double modern room with mountain view. All the rooms have ensuite bathroom and AC, cable TV and very good WiFi. Although the hotel has 3 stars, the amenities are of 4: self, wardrobes, lots of kits (cosmetic, vanity, sewing, comb, dental, shaving etc). Complimentary coffee, tea, water and a bottle of good Romanian wine.
It is perfect to relax in here, as it is very warm and the air so fresh! Plus the view, which is amazing!
While the Restaurant of the hotel was open for group events only at the time, the hotel has buffet breakfast. Cold cuts, cheese and different Romanian typic dishes. Also, the patisserie is typical and very tasty and fresh. Then, yogutts, eggs made as you wish, vegetables and fruits.
Reaching Royal Boutique Hotel
Royal Boutique Hotel is easy accessible by car and 5 minutes walk from the main bus station. Most of the Restaurants are less than 5 minutes by feet, while the slopes and cable cars at about 7 minutes. The hotel has a shortcut: some stairs with 77 steps. And then there is the main road that leads directly to the entrance, for the cars and it gets really easy to go with Google Maps, Waze or Gps.
